Google Chrome will now notify users when the price of a product they’re interested in has decreased. Users in the United States can now take advantage of the new feature.
Several new features are being added to Google Chrome to improve your online shopping experience. Users can now keep track of the products they’ve been eyeing in the browser. Google Chrome will now notify users when the price of a product they’re interested in has decreased.
As per the report this feature is only available to Android users in US. According to Google, iOS users will be able to use the feature in the coming weeks.
“Track Prices” will notify users when the price of a product they’re interested in drops. To see if a product’s price has dropped, users will no longer have to visit the product’s website. When an item’s price changes, you’ll be able to see it right away in your open tabs grid in Google Chrome.
As an example, if you type in “iPhone 12” into your browser, you’ll see the current price. Amazon and Flipkart links are updated with the new iPhone 12 price if you’ve previously opened them. The tab section in Chrome can show multiple products.
In addition, Google is allowing users to search by taking a picture of the address bar and submitting it. Chrome for Android users can now use Google Lens to search their surroundings if something catches their eye while they are window shopping.It’s easy to search with your phone’s camera by tapping the Lens icon in the address bar,” Google explained in an official blog post.
When you’re using Chrome on your desktop, you can also use Lens. You can right-click on a product and select “Search images with Google Lens” if you need more information about it.
When you’re shopping online, Chrome can keep track of your login information so that you don’t have to re-enter it each time.
Using this method, you won’t have to remember and enter your personal information for each and every shopping site that you visit.
With Autofill, Google will save your address and credit card information so you don’t have to enter it each time you shop. Chrome can fill in your billing and shipping information for you. And when you fill out a new form, Chrome will ask if you want to save your information..
