The Delhi Metro authorities issued a warning on Friday about a phoney website that sought to resemble the DMRC’s official website in order to swindle naïve customers. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said in a statement that some social media profiles are also attempting to “mislead job seekers” by advertising employment possibilities with the DMRC.

According to the report, a bogus website called has been set up to duplicate DMRC’s official website and provide bogus job chances to unsuspecting users.

“It is requesting money from responses, and some people may have already become victims of cyber fraud as a result of this weblink,” according to the statement.

It went on to say that the general public should be aware that DMRC’s job postings are only available on its official website,

“The Delhi Metro employs people in accordance with government regulations. DMRC’s recruitment procedure is totally computerised and transparent, and candidates are chosen solely on the basis of their merit. The official website also warns against such deceptive practises “According to the DMRC.

Job seekers are advised to use “great caution” when applying for positions with the DMRC, and to do so only through the official website, as no other platform has been authorised to carry out such a process on its behalf, according to the statement.

While this particular bogus connection has come to our attention, it is possible that there are more such fake links, social media profiles, middlemen touting work in DMRC, and so on.

“The DMRC has taken the required legal action against this website in accordance with the applicable laws. In the future, the general public is also urged to report any such bogus recruitment-based online or offline activity to us “According to the statement.
